CONTEMPORARY FINISH
The portrait is mounted on to a special lightweight yet extremely rigid photographic board that is then sealed with a matt finish photographic lacquer and covered with a special paper on the other side.
The role of the lacquer is to help protect the prints longevity and protect it from finger marks and slight scuffs. This style often features the image taken right out the edge of the frame. Here there is no border effect that is usual when traditional mats and frames are employed.
The production of this style of product is undertaken by a qualified professional specialist so that the end product is of the highest quality.
TRADITIONAL FRAMED FINISH
Where a traditional framing approach is the best approach for a customer's particular home, Photography by Julie carries a vast range of high quality and exclusive frames and mats. ROYAL CANVAS
This exclusive finish uses a process called Giclée printing. The portrait is imaged onto a high quality canvas material that is then treated with a special photographic lacquer to help protect it from finger-mark, scuffs and any potential UV exposure. The Canvas is then stretched over a deep stretcher bar frame so that the portrait wraps around the edge to create a three dimensional effect when it is hung on the wall. Royal Canvas is a timeless finish that looks stylish in the traditional and contemporary styled home.
All wall mounted portraits are available to be purchased in a variety of sizes that best suit the particular wall and style of home.
